Both warnings came in this morning. Second one also made the truck slow down. I believe the computer was applying the brakes. As my truck felt like it was stalling. Got it to the dealer. Now the fun begins.

    Anyone ever seen this?

If I loose the remote engine start/stop by replacing my stereo, then maybe it will be a good thing.

Issues like yours didn't happen on older cars. Before long the corporations and government will be able to decide where you can go and how fast you can do it through wireless.

I remember seeing something in the manual about stepping on the brake and the gas at the same time. Trying to do a burnout?

Did you do anything to the truck before this happened?

Have you changed anything electrical in the past? Your at the dealership, so I am not sure how we can help more than them.

headlights, anything? probably a blown fuse if so. Probably still a fuse or a bad brake controller.

    Page 44:
"Smart Stop Technology automatically reduces engine power when the accelerator and brake pedals are pressed simultaneously under certain conditions.
SST engages when the accelerator is depressed first and the brakes are applied firmly for longer than one-half second at speeds greater than five miles per hour.
SST doesn’t engage if the brake pedal is depressed before the accelerator pedal, allowing vehicles to start on a steep hill and safely accelerate without rolling backward."

I don't see anything about it throwing a code though. Sounds like something is wrong with the SST.

OP, it’s a blown fuse. There is another thread about this that has the solution. 10A STOP fuse

Eventually maybe. But currently you’re going too far down the rabbit hole. These particular warnings were put in place specifically because of the run-away Prius-es that Toyota had to deal with years ago

Do you have an aftermarket remote start system, pedal commander, trailer brake system or anything that enhances the throttle or shifting response that is not OEM? Or aftermarket taillights (trust me)?

Sounds like someone messed up your electrical or a fuse went out and it’s confusing the truck

Update.. just picked up my truck. All seems good so far. They said there were many codes they traced to a "shorted taillight bulb" that sent bad signals to the computer thinking I was braking while my foot was on the gas. Other than the fact that my taillight was still loose when I picked it up...pretty happy with easy fix.
I recently had my bed off and lots of work done so who knows what caused it but possibly during the work that was performed.
