Yeah, seems to be ok. The gap between the diff and cv on that drivers side is def bigger than the passenger, however it doesn't look like it's gotten any larger and I don't see any fluid leaking, so I'm thinking it's fine. I haven't yet reached the 500 mile new gears break in fluid change, so I'm going to hold final judgment on it until then. Again, Tacoma Whisperer, you are a Saint to us mere mortals! Haha

hello. im new here and i figured i would post my fix to the Brake Override Malfunction. i created my own problem.
i went through all the blogs and you tube videos. nothing worked. i haven’t modified any of my OEM lights, pedals or wiring harness. my issue started when i was chasing down a burnt fuse to the 12v socket in the console because i was leaving the next day for a few days off grid. started under the hood. decided to pull all 20amp and below to make sure they weren’t dirty or brownish. i put the ECT fuse into an unused slot next to where it was supposed to go. next morning with a fresh head i rechecked the fuses and found it. i already had the battery disconnected. put the fuse where it was supposed to go, connected battery and BOOM. all errors on dash gone and i now have a gas pedal again. runs good. no issues since. i would suggest to those of you who want to put in led lights to measure the resistance across the bulb and use resistors to match it with the new lights. ive learned that toyota ecu measures everything. thanks, I hope this helps.
