So the Brake Override System warning light came on while making a long drive on snow covered roads, while in 4wd the hole time. There was a lot of snow build up in the wheel well area that most likely also got into the inner rim/brake area. So then a couple hours later I drive again and the warning light is off. WTF? My 2016 Tacoma has just under 7k miles. The manual and the dashboard screen says see the dealer immediately. This is a royal pain in the ass as I live 90 minutes from the dealer. I called the dealer and they knew nothing about it and wouldn't until the attached their computer to it.

Ok that sucks. I too am far from a dealer. That would be an inconvenience. There should be a way to clear the code.

Doesn't that come on when you hit the gas and brakes at the same time?

On page 522 in the manual, it does mention "accelerator and brake pedal depressed simultaneously". The warning icon will look the same but the dashboard message will say different. Maybe I'm a big footed klutz and was pressing both pedals. Highly unlikely but...
