Yeah I was just having fun with it man cause I go down rabbit holes sometimes and overthink the hell out of decisions like this. But I hear ya on the slotted rotors and such

Bilstein 6112's 5th clip 1/4" spacer driver's side. Icon tubular UCA's with Delta joint, wheelers superbumps, ECGS bushing. Allpro standard leaf packs, 5160's, U bolt flip kit with wheelers super bump's, extended stainless steel brake lines, carrier bearing drop. Icon rebounds 17" with Nitto terra grappler G2's 285/70/17's.
I run Motul dot 4 in my son and grandson's racing dirt bikes. Great stuff. If I remember correctly, Motul has a boiling point of 594°. Sounds like it might help you if your fluid is getting hot. Hope this helps.

Just got done with the brake job (new pads, Stoptech rotors, and flush with DOT 5.1). Here's the new next to the old with 18,6** miles.

I will say it's nice refresh for anyone who wants to do it.

Slotted rotors are good, drilled rotors are not good (they lead to cracking). I don't know if a Tacoma would seriously benefit to the slotted rotors under most people's everyday driving conditions, but they definitely look cooler than solid rotors.

For pads, the best you can get are PFC brake pads. Part # is 0976.20. You can buy them thru O'Reilly's & RockAuto or another distributor if you're connected. RockAuto has them cheapest.
