I am planning on replacing my front brake pads and rotors next week. Do you guys have any suggestions on what are the best to put on? I have a 2009 TRD Off-Road DC. I was looking at some Brembo rotors on Tirerack.com. There are a lot of ceramic pads to choose from, not too sure which are the best.

    Thanks for the comments.

I think I am definitely going to get the plain Brembo Rotors.... still deciding on which pads.

How much work is it to change out the brake lines? Is bleeding the system tough (never done it before)?

    thanks

I currently have 75k miles on the truck. It is time for them to be replaced. I have had the rotors turned but i still have vibration when braking.

how can you tell if the pads are ceramics or not?

I was planning on replacing my brakes too, but in the spring. My reason for it is towing my boat. I noticed the lack of brakes with my heavier boat.

anyways, i already bought the SS lines. I'm still undecided on pads and if i even need rotors.

I have 43K miles on my truck. I was thinking either Hawks LTS pads, or EBC green 7000, or even the Yellow.

Rotors, I'm not 100% convinced I need those. But if i do, they will either be Brembo blanks, or PowerSlots.

I'm guess the OEM rotors are probably no different than the Brembos though...

I went ahead and put oem back on. They were about $270 for front pads/rotors from the dealership, but I got 70k out of them and they never made any noise. For the extra cost of performance pads, I wasn't sure if it was worth the money. GL

If you haven't already stop by out NKY/SW OH thread sometime.
