The prime places that need lubrication for the caliper to move freely (not the piston) you can't see. So you couldn't see if there is still lube there.

And while you trust your inspector, it doesn't mean he did anything but inspect. Obviously he didn't diagnose. That's not their job, and you'd not be here asking.

No offense, but I'm beginning to think the problem is installer error. Slapping in a new set of pads, anti rattle clips and putting some lube on the pad contact points does not a brake job make.

I am in the middle of switching stuff out now, there was some rust on the rotor catching the edge of the caliper causeing slight resistance the pads on the passnger side are worse than the drivers side

Never noticed it pulling at all , getting rotors resurfaced and new pads. We'll see if that fixes the issue

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Wagner Thermoquiet....best pad I've ever used. 250k on stock rotors without any issues. I change them about every 3 years.

I have the warranty with them, and I try them one more time since they're free and see how they do

I have 50,000 miles on my Napa Ultra Premium pads not even close to think about changing them

I install new pins with new pads

The rear brakes are keep adjusted by the constant use of the Parking brake

Now I am easy on the brakes but almost every time the truck gets driven @1000 pounds of payload or pulling a Miller Big Blue 400D or both.

Then we have no Mountains in Pa only a few hills

Ended up doing everything today, new pads calipers and rotors. A small vibration went away, hopefully the pads last a good while

i dont ever get my rotors resurfaced anymore...if they are warped the wobble comes back quickly and its a waste of time.

I drive mostly hwy and use very little brake. I can get well over 100k out of the fronts and never replace the backs. That is in Tx. I spent 5 years in Wv and probably went through a couple of sets.
