The dealership said it was "normal" - but I don't think it is:

At 5,100 miles when I purchased my truck I'd push down the brake pedal about an inch and get a glitch/click feeling and then it would keep going. Basically just felt inconsistent and not smooth. Took it into my local dealer and they said that I needed a new brake main cylinder and assembly. A couple weeks later they replaced those parts. When I picked up my truck I drove it around and the glitch is gone but now I experience an electronic feeling vibration in the pedal for about a second or two when pushing the brake pedal down. Literally feels like I'm stepping on a ringing cell phone on my pedal. It happens in the parking lot at 0 mph and out and about driving - doesn't seem to be speed related. My truck isn't vibrating anywhere else (no body shuttering etc), just in the pedal for a consistent amount of time that feels electronic. Right away I drove it back to the dealership and they didn't think it was weird (it was 5:30pm...thinking they're being lazy). No codes came up and no lights on the dash. I just want to drive a truck that doesn't have weird pedal feedback. It makes me feel like the ABS is on on dry pavement or something. Any ideas?

I felt the same, was told it was normal and you don’t need to press hard to stop the truck.

No buzzing noise or vibrating whatsoever from the brake pedal in my truck.

After doing some deeper snooping around old TW posts it seems that other people have/are experiencing various levels of this vibration. Seems like some peoples is loud and audible, other just have a faint buzz and some, like mine, are intense buzzes under their foot. Sounds like people have concluded its the electronic brake booster in Off Roads (allows for crawl mode and MTS etc). But has anyone found a solution? The buzz is pretty distracting when you're trying to concentrate on slowing down or negotiating an obstacle...
