Not so fast. You are right I didn't mention it in the video but if you open the video description, I mentioned it there. You have to click on "Show More" to expand the video description.

Just bled in sequence RR, LR, RF, LF, LSPV still pedal going to the floor when I turn the engine on. It has to be either the booster or a bad MC. I guess my next step is to get a brand new good quality MC. I hate to buy a new brake booster and it not be the problem as they're quite expensive.

Be aware: Just because it is new doesn't mean it's good.

AJ, I hear that. The one I put on was a NAMCCO made in Taiwan I bought on Amazon.

Guys, I think i might have found the problem. I took off the check valve on my booster and put a ziptie down all the way inside and it has brake fluid inside. I am off to replace the booster.

I ordered a new booster, should be here Tuesday. I was thinking.. would restricted bleeder valves cause this soft pedal? While inspecting my calipers, I noticed my front two bleeder valves look really weird. They looked crimped where the hole is and its the tiniest of hole. I'mable to blow through it but not good. Maybe its not enough flow to bleed the air out the calipers. Would y'all suggest replacing them and seeing if that's the issue? I can get two bleeders from Autozone for $5. I'll pull them out and post a pic here shortly. The rears look normal.

If you're getting fluid out when bleeding then I would have to think that air would come with it. IMO start with the booster especially if you said there was fluid in it but maybe that would be next step

mmm well the bleeder for sure shouldn't be crimped.. but they do have a barb to connect a hose to them. if they're damaged just replace them.

Both the fronts look like this. Probably, should go ahead and replace them, huh? Maybe the calipers are having a hard time bleeding.

I don't think those are an issue in comparison to the brake booster being full of fluid...

Andy, it wasn't full of fluid, but it did have some down inside the very bottom, maybe a centimeter. Hopefully, when I put the new one on it fixes the issue. I'll probably go ahead and replace the two bleeders as well since they look horrible. Keep your fingers crossed for me guys.

Just out of curiosity… OP why did you do all this work to begin with? Did you replace the master because it had a soft pedal before you got started? Or was there some other concern and the soft pedal became an issue after MC replacement?

Terrance, the first thing I did was replace the MC, bc the pedal just goes to the floor but it didn't resolve the issue.

Does anyone know if the paper thin gasket that goes between the master cylinder and brake booster absolutely imperative for your brakes to work? Mine has ripped and was wondering if its there to seal air or is it just there for contact.
