I was driving down the road, coming up to a red light and began to press the brake when the pedal locked up on me and my speedometer started jumping to different speeds, I immediately pulled over and inspected. I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary and when I turned the truck back on everything was normal. This has me scratching my head and wanted to see if anyone knows what’s going on. Thanks

can't address the brake pedal, but several years ago on our 05 camry, out of the blue driving 45mph, all of a sudden the tachometer started jumping around eventually settling and functioning but reading at about twice the rpms the engin was turning. Got to destination shut it off, upon restart tach functioned normal, and has continued normally ever since. Scary as hell while going on...heavy traffic, tach jumping up and down to over 6000, trying to listen to hear if engin was actually turning that fast (it was not) not knowing if I was about to blow the engin etc. No one at dealership had ever heard of something like this.......and it was just a one time event.....thankfully.
