Is the electronic pulse under the brake pedal normal? When I press the brake it pushes slightly back in pulses.

That would be the ABS. When does it do this? Every time you brake?

My biggest problem is the time the starter takes to start the truck.

I've only felt the ABS pulsation when I really mashed on the brakes pretty hard once to avoid a deer. Never felt it under slight or medium pressure. Somethin' ain't right is my guess.

Okay I just left the dealership and two mechanics inspected my brakes. Here are the results. The 2010 has a electronic pump accuator that constantly monitors the brake pressure. It is totally normal.

you shouldnt feel any pulsation under normal braking. ever. those mechanics need a slap! i'd get a second opinion from another dealer.

I feel it at times with my 09'. Doesn't seem like a big deal and i assumed it was part of the system.

Take it for what its worth, as i also don't get all of the drama with the mild surge when stopping at a light or a stop sign, unless those freaking out about that are feeling a hell of a lot more than i am.

Don't think that is what he is referring to.

It feels totally different than a warped rotor if he is talking about the same feel that i get.
