It does work... I've done it before on my 2017. But I think it's more like 13-15 seconds. It seems to take F O R E V E R. :burp:

I always thought it did. I just tried holding mine for 30, and nothing.

Dunno. When I did it I was standing outside the truck with driver's door open. My back and neck started getting stiff before the truck started.. but it did eventually start.
    Pushbutton start.

you can’t be in accessory mode you have to push it twice so all your warning lights are on.

Warranty. Tell 'em you heard it on the web it should work. Threaten a class action suit. Demand your rights.

so I’m wrong you have to hold the start button on second push!
If pushed twice then hold it no work!

I just tried it in my 19 and it worked. Pushed once and held down. Took about 15 seconds.

It's easier to just hit the brake but it did work for me.

    yes.

my last two Ram’s, and last 4 other various vehicles all stayed running after you used remote start.

the Rams, and the GMC were PTS and the others had physical keys.

remote start the vehicle, get in within 10-15 minutes, push start button or insert key and turn to “run”, put it in gear and drive.

if you didn’t have they key fob inside the cab, it wouldn’t drive on the PTS models.

mph, and better activation of the remote start.

either push and hold a remote start button, or press lock once, then press and hold a remote start button. no silly and nearly impossible sequence to hit to start.

Had the 12 volt solutions 2 way remote start on my 12.
It stayed running just needed a key and a touch of the brake pedal.
Also had a pit stop mode.
    Was great with the dog!
Push and hold on remote it would run and use ac or heat while he waited for me if I stopped at the store.

you could wire in a small momentary switch next to the ignition that is tied into the brake circuit.

press the brake button and then the start button. could also double to just turn the brake lights on if needed.

    Two possible issues with this:

    1. these trucks are fairly smart, and depending on your model, activating the brake switch without actually building pressure could cause some codes.

    2. Tying into some factory wiring spooks some people.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Maybe not 120° air temps, but after a couple hours in 100° air temp under direct sun. Yeah, it's hot. But a short drive with the A/C blasting mitigates that pretty quick.

A trailer brake gives you a remote brake switch. Press the trailer brake, then press the PTS switch. It works with my Redarc brake controller.

Yes. 2020 Nissan Armada. Remote Start, then unlock door, vehicle continues to run, then get in, then step on brake and press start button, then drive away. If you shift out of park before taking those step, the engine kills.
