    Remote start in those conditions.

I wish I could remote down all windows. My 4Runner has that feature and I wish the Tacoma did. Comes in handy for hot summers.

Everyone managed just fine before all this unnecessary “tech”.
    People are too soft…

you can hold the start button for 20 seconds without the brake pedal and it'll start... but that is alot longer than just having a key..

sorry. i just like keys. lol

Tested after going through this thread. Press once, wait a second or two, press again and hold for 15 seconds; works on my ‘19.
Easier to just press the brake with your other hand while leaning in but handy if you’re in the passenger seat for whatever reason

speedo needs new caps.. and i need to remove the bulb for the low oil level light.. the 3.5 doesn't have that.

Well, to tie this back to the original post, it must really stink having to sit your rear end down in that thing and push the clutch in to start it. No remote start or anything. The horrors.

    :D

my 17 will start with just the PTS after about 20 seconds... I've been chasing this problem, press brake pedal, PTS, and nothing buy a "click" from the starter, while showing "check charging system" but yesterday, it added a "check brake system" also ... googled it and learned about the 20sec start
