I replaced my front brake pads today and now no matter how many times I pump the pedal, it's spongey. Even worse, now when i brake there's a grinding feel and noise coming from the rear. I drive a 2006 PreRunner with 143,000 miles. Anybody know what's going on?

I've never tried them, but have read where people have installed braided stainless steel brake lines, and have said that made the brakes feel more firm.
