I took my '18 in for the brake master cylinder fix a few weeks ago. A couple of days ago I had the brake warning light and screen message come on intermittently. Called the dealership and raised the issue with them. I am going there this Friday for the recall on the TSS sensor in the grill, and they planned to look into it then. It started coming on more and more this weekend, so I read a little into and didn't realize the light can indicate low brake fluid level, so I went and checked it today. The fluid was very low and is leaking from the cylinder and around the base where it attaches to the booster. I embedded a picture below

I'm going to top the fluid off and drive directly to the dealership, maybe (almost scares me too). I asked them when I raised the issue about it being ok to drive, and the response was, "It's probably just a sensor." I didn't have any braking problems, so I went with it. The brake fluid stripped the paint from the booster where it was leaking. Should I raise a fuss about this or is it cosmetic? I'm definitely going to raise a fuss about the leaking fluid. I'm also worried about the fluid leaking down onto something else. Is there much down underneath that area it could damage? I didn't realize brake fluid would eat paint. Some input is appreciated!

Yes brake fluid is an amazing paint remover. Make the dealer repair the leak and the mess.

I wouldn't top off the fluid. I wouldn't touch anything. Have the dealer come get either by them driving it or they send a tow truck. Let them be responsible for it. Also, brake fluid is nasty stuff and will eat up many things it comes in contact with. You should get back a repaired vehicle with the mess cleaned up and any paint touched up.
