Brake Recall.

Went to dealer for first service and they said I had an open recall and they were to give me a rental. Since I wasn’t looking to drive a Corolla for a few weeks I just kept the truck. They said Toyota wasn’t going to formally notify owners until end of Jan as they didn’t have the parts for all the trucks.

Here’s what I found on Toyota Owners App. Sounds more of a procaution than anything.

 

Yep, I had an appointment on the 26th to get the work done. When I got there they figured out the parts are on backorder, so I took my truck back. Now just waiting on parts.
