I need new brake pads, but when do I need to change my brake rotors, I have 90k miles, I don't feel any warping or anything odd when stopping my tacoma. Thanks

Rotors are cheap. With 90,000 miles I'd just replace them.

there are specs cast in the edge of the rotor. Use a mic to measure the deepest grooves. That will let you determine the wear status. Anymore it's usually only a few dollars more to buy new rather than mess with turning if they are out of spec.

Normal rotor wear is about two sets of pads. If the rotor measures well and has no unusual grooving, you can clean them thoroughly with scotch pads and brake cleaner and install the new pads. I would also do a full brake fluid change/bleed and clean/lube/adjust the rears.

Be sure you properly bed the new pads.
