Well everyone the job is done and I wish I used a bigger hammer earlier . I ordered new wheel hubs and they sent me the wrong ones . I can’t even find them online so I took a 2/12 pound hammer and got to smacking and broke it right off

With just my luck I broke a stud after it all but that wasn’t too bad since everything was easy to get off . I just hope someone that got. A5 lug sees this and just get to hammering on that rotor i pb blaster tf out of it too . Then once I saw it splitting off got a pry bar and popped it off . Feels good lol . My first brake job ever and this wassnt the easiest but it’s done

They sent you the wrong hub or you ordered the wrong hub? When I was looking to see if I could find something quick for you there was no 5-lug hubs for sale that were new. Just the ones previously linked that were used and over priced...

Got a link for the ones you ordered?

I've done brake jobs on all sorts of vehicles over the last 30 years or so and "wasn't the easiest" is not how I would describe this ordeal LOL. Congrats on perseverance and gettin 'er done.

I've ordered parts for 5 lug at numerous retailers.....autozone....napa....advance...
and they sent 6 lug......inner tie rods come to mind.

So if you order 5 lug stuff.....better be local and keep that receipt.....unless its one of the toyota online dealers...

New Toyota hubs seem to be available for 5 lug trucks- am I missing something?

It's not that they're not available at all, but that's pretty expensive, especially if you compare to what the aftermarket has for the 6 lug trucks.

Sure, but it's just silly to say the parts aren't out there.. when they are. And honestly, $450 bucks to change something that's lasted 20+ years, and will last the rest of the life the truck is pretty cheap. And ultimately it's the thing your wheels attach to.. I wouldn't skimp on it anyway.
