Any one familiar with MK Kashiyama brake shoes? I have a '96 4WD with LTX M/S 31 tires and it does not stop as well as I would like. I want to change the shoes in the back but I am unsure what to purchase. Fleet shoes seem to have higher stopping power. Advise appreciated. Thanks! Woodcutter

I use the Napa Ultra Premium shoes I find the braking just fine .

Then I do tend to haul 800 pounds or more on a regular basis.

Just what are you comparing the braking with.

These trucks are known for not having the best brakes. Popular mod is to put the tundra rotors and calipers on (atleast 16" rim is needed). You probably wont notice a difference with changing out the shoes unless yours are wore out.
