I have a 2004 toyota tacoma and every time I press the parks both front and rear turn signals turn on solid on the left side of the truck and when pressing the brake and the left turn signal it blinks fast I see other people have the same issue on here and they say it's the ground but where exactly is the ground located because I can not find it. And yes I have changed the bulbs and cleaned all connections even on the tail light it's self

My diagram shows the Ground for LEFT rear stop light goes THROUGH the Right stop light.
Both lights use the SAME ground location once the leave the right taillight.
My bet is that your problem is between the left and right taillight. (If it’s actually a ground issue)

White/Black wire is the ground wire. Pull the left tail light and check it for ground

    How did check the wiring?
With a voltage meter set to continuity?
    Or with a test light?

You need to see if the White/Black wire is making a good connection to a Ground.
Ground as in frame. But make sure you test it on a clean section of the frame.

I personally like to use a test light. But that requires a connection to battery positive. I use jumper cables. Then use the test light to probe the ground wire.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Check the evil converter 4 pin converter Box that causes no end of light problems

Clean out the sockets of the rear tail lights . I use a Fitting brush in a drill .

Unless you have Physical damage to the harness or connectors .which most times causes a fuse to open.

    These are the only places

They 2 are up in the cab.one under the hood

    on the left inner fender

right and left cab reinforcement .

Many circuits attach to these ground points you would have many more problems then just lights.

    Good luck.

It’s probably easier to show you
You need to understand that then LEFT light Ground goes THROUGH the RIGHT light.
Then out of the right light and to 2 (yes 2) different grounds.

I’d start with pulling the right light and testing the ground wire between the 2 lights.

IE and IG are the Ground locations.79EE280B-5E49-4A56-8C8F-E6DA04F8C817.jpg8A68CCC7-1C60-4962-9240-689949F70EA0.jpg

How exactly are you testing the ground connection?

If you want to check the Ground wire for the Left light.
Here is how I’d do it.

    Pull both tail lights.
The Left tail light plug is R6 pictured below.
    The Right is R7

Test for Ground at pin #3 of the R6. Black/White wire. (Left light)
If you have NO ground there, test for Ground at the Right light R7 pin #3.

    We’ll go from there.
