I just don't see the point in putting drilled and slotted rotors on a street truck.

I just replaced my front pad and put in EBC yellowstuff pads. What a difference just the pads made, my trucks stops hard now with very little pedal pressure. I also flushed the brake fluid as well. I always hated the lack of bite the stock pads had but I put up with it because I only drive my truck on the weekends. I have 49,000 miles on my truck and my rotors were fine no groves or anything out of the ordinary, I didn't even have then resurfaced. I wanted a more aggressive pad with better stopping and less fade because I'm going to start towing a pop up trailer. The only bad thing is the yellowstuff pad make a shit ton of dust, my wheels are dirty after driving around the block Lol, but I would trade dust for better braking anytime.

    Too few to list.
Just having good pads makes a difference alone. EBC and Akebono's are great replacements. Brakes are not something you want to skimp on.

Don't know how much off road you do with your truck but one of the main reasons slotted/drilled rotors are typically not used is that they trap dirt/mud but would probably a benefit in stopping/cooling on road. I'm thinking on using SS lines on mine to help with the feel and upgrading to at least better pads as with bigger tires, I feel it's necessary.

Yeah I don't off road, the raybestos rotors and akebono pads comes out to 120 so I'm just going to do that, will raybestos drums in the rear with a good shoe, just not sure yet
