FWIW, that's for vacuum boosted...it's a little different for hydraulic boosted.

Sure seems like lift install related. If it started after install. Stretched brake line, or disconnected something he didn't need to. Did your buddy do the rear brake line relocate bracket on axel?

He just installed what came in the readylift SST kit, so he front spacers, rear spacers and ubolts, sway bar spacers, skid plate spacers and diff drop, nothing for brake line relocation

There should be a relocate bracket for the brake lines/t-block on rear axle. have seen it with other lifts, and came with my 15 TRD PRO kit. I would check the rubber line from frame to axle. it maybe that, you may need bracket, or longer brake line.

Just throwing possible things out there to help you out.

^^^ this, if you got a 3" lift put in and didn't put in an extended brakes line, you might be over stressing it (the rear lines).

Either way it sounds like you need a proper brake bleed, if that doesn't solve it then maybe the MC is going out...weird though on a new truck

I inspected the rear lines and although more tension than stock I didn’t think it was enough to cause an issue. I bled all 4 corners maybe tomorrow the dealer will have better input

If you plan on offroading I would get longer brake lines installed first...when that rear end starts flexing up and down/side to side it's going to pull on those lines considerably more, the rears require a good amount of slack to safely stretch out with the rear end articulation.

Have someone step on brake pedal, while you check all soft brake lines. Usually a stressed brake line will have a bulge with pressure.

When driving no, but if I pump the pedal it throws the check brake system and it goes away when I guess it releases pressure. When it builds pressure it throws the warning

The readylift 3/2 kit doesn’t extend rear lines since it’s only 2” in rear of lift . It would be pretty obvious looking back there if it was kinked .

No direct experience with your truck, but what is happening is typical of when your ABS is out of balance. This happens with a brake leak or air bubble, creating a lower pressure in one side (front vs rear) of the braking system.

Did you do the recall if it is applicable to your vehicle. I have a 2018 TRD sport and had a master brake cyclinder recall.

I did have a recall and I had it performed 6 months ago at least, maybe the one they put in is malfunctioning? Who knows
