Used to be really active in the pre-67 VW bus scene.

There was a late 1950/early 60's panel van that spent 40+ years in the belly of a passenger ship in Europe. Never registered and used to haul luggage from the ship to the dock. The ship company went belly up and the ship sat 10 years. When they went to cut the ship up for scrap they found this bus in the cargo hold. It had under 500 miles on it.

There was a 1966 VW pick-up that surfaces a few years back with under 1000 miles on it from Alaska. Story was that the husband bought it without telling the wife. He hid it at his business. He was killed soon after and the wife shut the door. 30 years later she sells the building and they find the bus tucked in the back. Saw that bus first hand and man was it clean.... Like a time capsule. Have seen a similar 1960 camper van with a similar story.

I had a 1960 VW pick-up that from 1960 to 1969 it had 50,000 miles put on. From 1969 till 1993 had less then 1000 miles put on it. Had the receipts to prove it. Cleanest bus I ever owned.

My buddy had a 80's camero. Had the oil changed by one of those oil stop places. Went overseas for 3 years. Came back and changed the oil again and they guy flipped that it had been 5 miles since the last oil change.

    They are out there.

I call B.S. Take a look at a previous thread below that he made on 05/10/2010. He made this thread about buying a 51 mile Tacoma two months earlier on 03/18/2010. So unless he managed to drive 46,949 miles in a period of 53 days I'd say he was talking out of his ass.

WTF? Why in the hell would somebody lie on the internet to a bunch of strangers.

    Needs attention that bad?

Not saying the OP is lying, but man it seems that way right now. Especially after looking at some of his other posts.
