Two and a half weeks ago I purchased a brand new 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4X4 with 4 miles on the odometer. On the drive home I noticed it was pulling to the left and had a vibration in the steering wheel. I took the vehicle back to the dealership and they found the toe-in to be out so they aligned it and balanced the tires. The vehicle still pulled to the right so again I took it back and this time they said the air pressure in the tires was low, so they inflated and realigned it again. The vehicle doesn't pull as bad but if you let go of the wheel it will always drift to the right and leave the lane. I've noticed that the steering wheel seems off center about 5 degrees to the right and if you center it the vehicle will drift to the left instead of travel straight. I'm going back to the dealership tomorrow and I'm at a loss for what to do. Has anyone had this problem or heard of this problem with tacomas and if so what was the fix if any?

And let me guess, if you go back to the dealer and ask if it`s been wrecked, their answer is, not to my knowledge.
Trust me, this happens, my own, low down brother told a customer that some years back.

Thank you sir! Not a bad idea I was thinking the same thing however I've become a pain for them and I think they want to give me my money back the tacoma still has less than 500 miles. If they don't take it back then I'll probably end up at another dealership.

The alignment on my truck is shockingly good. Steering wheel dead center, tracks straight, no pulling whatsoever.

Find a different dealer, and if that one can't get it right, then personally I'd just pay to have a reputable alignment shop do it.

Honestly, it's an easy fix for a shop that knows what they're doing and is experienced in alignments. Don't worry about it, and congrats on the new truck!

Your title is a bit misleading. It implies you’ve had the alignment checked multiple times and each time it’s becoming unaligned. In reality, it just needs a good alignment.

Try rotating the tires front/rear. If the pulling goes away then you MIGHT have what is called a "radial pull".

I don't know if you know or have tried that already???

    Anyways...

Yeah I agree the title is crap lol I've had it aligned twice but your correct its not coming unaligned it just never been properly aligned. I was starting to think maybe there was some kind of defect and it couldn't be aligned. I'll try another dealership and see what happens.

I haven't but I'll keep it in mind if another dealership isn't able to get it to align

One of the dealership lot guys may have had some fun in the parking lot and smacked a curb and didn’t say anything.

A crooked steering wheel on a brand new vehicle would make my OCD go crazy.

Even better, just swap the fronts only Left/Right and if the pulling changes the other direction, it is pointing to the tire(s).

I'm NOT saying that it is not an alignment issue, but even new tires can have issues and will not necessarily "work" like you would think.

Just saying that it is a quick and easy way to rule that possibility out.

    Hope this helps...

Welcome, and congrats on the new Tacoma truck!

The dealer appears to be lost, so finding a competent one for all your future services would be a good idea.
If an alignment was performed or checked, they should have provided you with a hard copy of all the settings.
Also if you can post it, this would be very helpful for diagnostic purposes, or to be sure if it’s even an alignment concern and getting the right advice on how best to correct the issue.

Also do look at the multi-information display to verify that the tires have the correct tire pressure and that the front is relatively even (1-2 -+ psi).

Mine was off center on the test drive. They apologized profusely that it was missed. Fixed it in twenty minutes and it's been perfect since. Said alignment was a little off on delivery.
