Congrats on the truck . Me personally would wrap those fender flares flat black . Don’t understand why they made those glossy now .

 

Hmm, not a fan of the new design, but its not my place to tell others how to spend money. My concern is all those wires and tubes, have you become familiar with everything in that engine bay so if you need to do some highly unlikely trail repairs it will go smooth..

 

What are the plans? Rock crawl, fast stuff, overland, mall crawl, daily drive or everything in between?

I could lie to you and say a bunch of stuff I would like to do but in reality, she's just my daily that I aspire to one day drive in the desert. here in southwest mo we don't really have truck trails either (that are just mud pits). all that to say she's destain for pavement and Starbucks parking lots lol.

 

The color is Tara. the pictures don't do it justice, looks way better in person.

 

Have you looked at an engine bay before on a vehicle made in the last 20 years? There’s nothing special going on in that picture.

 

Not a lot of info out there right now about the new powertrain unfortunately. from what I do know however is that the new hybrid system isn't tied to everything like say a prius. it's certainly a gamble trying something new, but I imagine when turbo engines first came out back when people had similar concerns. I would like to add I have a lot of confidence in the best rated auto maker in the world.
