Samthing happened to my old Scion before, it is probably just something wrong with the power window system.
Try to press and hold the power window for 5-10 seconds then do the same thing when pressing it up even though it’s not going up.
This helps reset the power window, hope it helps you.

LMAO. You have to be kidding, or maybe are just completely clueless to how a franchised dealership is structured.

My opinion remains the same. Your opinion is an assumption as well, just blinded by fanboisism.

Toyota has very little to say about how the dealer runs his company. The illusion held by the public is that Toyota is the mothership and the dealers are under complete control. This couldn't be further from the truth. Toyota can offer enticements/incentives to persuade dealers to conform to a standard, but outside the minimum essentials of fulfilling the franchise requirements, Toyota Corp is powerless over the dealer.

I bet you think McDonald's takes great care to make sure their employees wash their hands after using the restroom too.

Dealer pulled the door panel and found a faulty connection. They secured the connection and the window is good to go.

The windows were tinted at the dealer, so tint guys must have disconnected the the harness to the window motor.

You don't think Toyota controls their dealers?

Toyota can say whatever they want. Individual dealers and to a greater degree the individual tech who performs the service controls the situation.

I work in the environment. You don't have a clue on the structures that are in place to ensure quality.

Like the ones that enabled a brand new truck to roll off the dealer lot with a window not working? Those structures?
I don't care what environment you work in, there are tons of stories on here of people having issues that shouldn't happen with a new truck if the pdi was done correctly.
These "structures" are only as good as the people overseeing them through implementation.

Your assumption are not correct. You read some crap on TW and you think everyone at Toyota is there just to fuck you over.

    I'm done with this.

Read my post history to see if I am anti-toyota. The answer is no. The problem is that individual responsibility ensures things get done as they are supposed to. You seem passionate about this, just know I am not blaming you, but maybe not everyone is as thorough as you are.
I certainly take everything on this site with a grain of salt, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a bit of truth to some of it either. I am dealing with my dealer about some issues as it is, so I'm also not eager to give them a free pass.
