I got a 96 3.4 tacoma. Just had a new motor put in at 80k miles due to a shit job on a coolant flush by a local shop, (that i paid for). But i havent even put 100 miles on it and theres seriously a pond of oil on the floor in my garage. It seems to be coming out of the rear of motor. I was thinking a rear main seal or oil pan gasket , but really i have no idea . The bottom of the motor is covered in oil and i am pissed lol. really. . .. After spending close to 5 grand on a new motor .... i mean cmon now... I only have a 90 day warrenty and i broke my leg and havnt ben able to drive it for close to 90 days. Im taking to the shop that did it later this week. Any one have a list of things it could maybe be, or any input .... Thanx.

Never mind how you spent $5K on a new motor for a truck with $5K KBB retail value, and settled for only a 90-day warranty... In too deep now.

Could be any seal (or any number of seals). Only way to know is to wipe the oil clean, run it for a while and inspect.

I was in to deep a long time ago to be honest. Bought the truck for 5 grand had to take it in for ball joints, tie rods, tires etc that day and i knew that. But problem after problem it has ben, ive stuck way to much into it to not fix it if you could understand that.
