Brand new owner - looking for grill gaurds and running boards

Hey there everyone! Just became a proud owner of a 2012 quad cab tacoma! Looking for suggestions on full grill guards and running boards !!!!

any other suggestions on any accessories for rougher terrain and protection of the vehicle from deer, buffalo etc... live in south dakota!

Links or anyone that has old parts looking to sell would be interested in any possibly options at this time...any help appreciated! Looking to enjoy many adventures in my new vehicle! enjoy kayaking and fishing and agate hunting!

 

Hey man, I'm in a similar boat. I bought an older tacoma though. I have been looking through this website for a grill and running boards. I just purchased some rock sliders through SOS (sos-offroadconcepts.com - he's easy to work with). I'm looking to do a group buy with WMW for a grill protector, but I don't know if they do 2nd/3rd gen grills. There are group buys you could do with people like relentless fabrication that are custom made whether you want a light bar or winch, etc.

 

Thanks man! That sight sos-offroadconcepts.com looks great just opened it up and browsed it, those sliders look excellent for rock hounding and agate hunting here in the badlands! I like some of those front guards too! What all entails in a group bye?

 

Go check out the armor subforum https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/armor.182/. You've got a lot of options to sort though. Try looking through the marketplace too, you might find somebody local trying to sell their plate bumper and save on shipping.

 

a group buy is a thread where someone will pose an idea to collectively purchase from a vender. Then they get a feel for how many want to buy from them and contact the vendor. Usually you can get discounts this way - otherwise it isn't worth it. Look on the buy/sell/trade tab for group buys
