My guess is it could... definitely dont think they were engineered to do so because Pelfreybilt went under right as TSS was a thing on the taco

 

It is my understanding that the TSS is dealing with the camera in the grill. I imagine this question is directly asking if this hoop is covering the TSS sensor.
Worded this way we can probably deduce the answer but I do not know the exact height of the hoop.
Sorry to ask but can you measure OP? I'll fill in the blanks.
