Selling a brand new Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller & Toyota Wiring Adapter. Purchased these a few months ago but decided to go with a single axle trailer instead. Asking $90 shipped to the lower 48.

So is there trailer plug that this plugs into somewhere on the truck or has to be spliced?

If you have the factory towing package your Tacoma will have a 7-way round plug next to the receiver hitch & a plug for the brake controller hidden under the dash. (on the driver's side right above the top of the kick panel.)

Here is some great information on towing with a Tacoma.

Can someone tell me which panels I need to remove to get to the wiring harness to attach my P3? I've never done anything like this before--so need instruction and photos if possible. I'd also like to mount it in that little cubby as people have shown, but again I don't know how to access. I've got a 2017 Tacoma TRD off road. Thank you!

Bump I have a P3 these work great when towing!!!

T@Barbara, no panel removal. Its a white plug just below your fuse panel near the OBDII port (driver ebrake pedal area ). It my be tucked away a little. I personally didn't use the mount. I put 2 pieces of 3m industrial Velcro tape below my steering wheel, and plug in my P3 when needed for towing, then remove it when done. Works great for me and I don't have more clutter when not towing.
