That's like a 1.5" lift over stock, right? I think that's what I found in the quick Google search and they also said the following:

"Recommended tire size 285/75R16, wheel 16X8 with 4.5" back spacing."

If that's the case with 1.5" then I should be fine with almost 2" lift running this same wheel/tire combo. I was wanting to run those wheels I just posted which I think are 4.5" back spacing and then some Duratracs in 285/75R16.

Yes, I think you are right on all of the above. My lift came with the front set at about 2 inches and I left it there. The back came up enough to maintain the factory rake, more or less. I used the smaller 275/75/16's because I want to tow and have maximum articulation. I think you can probably get the 285's in there.

These are great looking wheels and will fit our Tacos. Why do FJ's have all the cool wheels. Where are the cool wheels made specifically for Tacos:confused::confused::confused: by Toyota?:confused::confused:

I like the bronze also but if I could get my hands on a black or anthracite set, for a good price, that may do me in...

That's the site I just bought mine from as well. $688 out the door. It does not mention this, but these do come with chrome lug nuts. I ordered black ones from ebay. MAKE SURE YOU GET MAG STYLE LUG NUTS. These are 50mm. I ordered the shorter ones and they worked just fine.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-EXTENDED-50MM-TOYOTA-FACTORY-STYLE-WHEEL-MAG-LUG-NUTS-12X1-5-1-5-BLACK-/181115180594?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2012%7CModel%3ATacoma&hash=item2a2b4e5632&vxp=mtr

Also, I decided to paint the inside of the wheel. The diameter of the lug nut is much smaller than the diameter of where it sits, so the lug nut has a shiny aluminum ring around it. Once you pop the center cap off, that whole area is not painted. I just hit mine with primer and some flat black and I thought it looks MUUUUCH better.

Here is my truck with the stock tires on it.

Also, when you take it in to have the tires installed, request that the white tire lettering (if you have it) be flipped inside. I forgot to do that.

So was your price under the $215/wheel or was that what you paid? I'm probably going to do 5 wheels to and have the same spare.

Not me, I like the bronze because I think they'll look nice on the Pyrite Mica plus when I do see these wheels around here they're almost always black and sometimes anthracite so I want to be different.

I actually like the white letters out and it's what I plan to do. Currently my tt wheels have the tires black out and on my MGM I think it's too monotone.

Well, of the three that would be my last choice with that color. I don't think they would look bad it's just conflicting metallic colors IMO. I think the black would look best on that lighter body color with the anthracite a close second. I think those bronze ones looks best on Red, Pyrite and maybe white but I think the others would look better. That being said, if you find a screamin' deal on the bronze ones snap them up and throw them on because they'll still look good.

It's not bad but I still think the black would look better.

Yeah, that's about the best deal I've found on four (would have to pay shipping to get them to me which I assume is going to be $50+) of them too. I'm hoping to find some new take-offs for some savings as I don't need brand shiny new but that also doesn't mean I want to pay brand shiny new prices for used wheels like I've seen so far. I'm not in a huge hurry so I'm hoping that I can come across something as someone somewhere wanted aftermarket and doesn't care about the 'stock' ones.

    Just bought these wheels!

I talked to Dave at the place and they said they had a client order 25 sets of wheels and the next day cancelled so that's why they have discounted them.

He said they have about 19 sets left in stock...

Just so you know, I called my local dealership and he said IF they could get them, they would be $305/wheel.

30seconds after he said that, I had mine ordered for $700 shipped! hahah

    Cheers,

    Jay

Don't forget to use promo code "500DISCOUNT". 2% off over $500.

It's only $12 bucks, but it makes finding them, and getting them for less than $700 that much better.
