Maybe it's what is left of the neighbors cat flapping against the radiator shroud. No rattles in my 2015 Off Road. Smooth and quite as butter. Checked gas milage today 22.8 on last tank driving 55 and below. Oh What a Feeling TOYOTA

I've got 3 right now that are driving me nuts:

    - Center of the dash against the windshield when it's cold. A piece of foam should stop that.
    - Passenger seat over bumps. Common here, the dealer blamed my "aggressive tires" and "TRD Option". Maybe the tires make it ride harder over bumps, but considering I demonstrated it to them by hitting the seat standing outside the truck in the service bay...
    - Passenger side floorboard. This one is driving me NUTS! It's only prominent over 35-40 MPH. Found a thread on here suggesting the culprit was a metal conduit under the seats. I thought I found it and wedged some packing material under it, but it doesn't appear that I did. I'll have to pull the seats out and go under the carpet and see what I do or don't find.

I'm used to noise and rattles daily driving an STi before I got my truck, but given how tight the truck was when I first purchased it, I am a bit surprised.

the passenger seat rattle i eliminated by stuffing drive foam all around the reclining lever (inside the upholstery). before that i had a towel folded and shoved between the consol and the seat and that stopped it

hope i dont get a floor board rattle. the windshield one is killing me as it is

The only thing that shakes on mine is the passenger seat back (but it doesn't when my little cutie is in it). This must be a Canadian thing.

The plethora of shite that you poor southerners have to put up with is unbelievable!!!

You pay 35k for the truck, take it up there and tell them you want your money back or they fix it. When I financed my 2014 they called me about four days after the deal was done and told me something went wrong with the bank. They said the bank made a mistake and my payment was now going to be about 75-100 bucks more a month. I only put like 100 miles on it so I cleaned the little shit out of it and drove it up there. I gave them the keys and said here ya go, I told them if they can alter the deal so can I. I walked out and had my wife pick me up. They stopped me before I left and said they would take care of it, just push them and don't back down.

Just had new tires put on my truck today. Mentioned to my Toyota dealer that the roof/ceiling liner vibrates when my twin 10" subs are going. They said they could look into it if I wanted. Might be able to pull it back and put some foam up there. It seems to rattle right at the windshield above the passenger side dash board.

If I reach over and put my finger on it while driving it stops rattling. But that's not convenient. Nothing else seems to rattle though.

I had a dealer do the EXACT same thing on a Blazer ZR2 Offroad years ago! I drove it home then a few days later, phone call, bank messed up your payment is now 50 bucks hirer. I said I'll be down to return the vehicle, that's not the deal I made, nor the loan papers I signed. You violated the contract. You can have the vehicle back. They said they would fix it.

These trucks rattle allot especially if you drive on really bumpy roads. I got driver/passenger front window rattle when going over bumps, while there rolled down half way. Got another one where it makes weird random ticking noises at highway speeds. Went underneath the truck and suspect that the catalytic converters shroud or whatever you call it is making weird noises. and of course I got that infamous Tacoma 1gr-fe ticking/tapping sounds coming from inside the engine.

Had no rattles from 0-4500 miles, took a mild wheeling trip, lot of washboard dirt roads.

    Guess who has rattles now?

My worst by far seems to be in headliner, near rear passenger seatbelt. Rattles when braking to a stop.

Going to have to tear into it this weekend.

No rattles on my 15. Defiantly one of the tightest trucks I have driven. Took my buddies 15 Ford FX4 camping a couple of weekends ago down an old forestry road. The thing rattled so bad that the glove box latch broke on the way up.

I bought my 2015 TRD off-road recently and within first 50-100 miles I heard a buzzing type rattle in the area of the lower glove box/air vent near the passengers leg. It would be more noticeable when it's warming up and just leaving the neighborhood but continues for about 15-20 min, worse around 30mph. I took it to the dealership at about 1000 miles when I finally had a full day off with no plans. A tech rode with me and could hear the noise. After taking the truck for the day and removing glove box n such, They told me that likely a rodent had tried to start building a nest with debris in the lower engine compartment. I'm assuming they didn't lie but seems strange. I think my truck was sitting outside the dealership for a while and happened there. I live in a new house and haven't seen and evidence of rodents. Anyway they said they cleaned it out. I started hearing the same noise the next day and it still continues. I'm going to take it back again to dealership but hate wasting a day. I'll probably try and vacuum out the engine bay this week. I'll have my wife drive and try to pinpoint the noise if it's something else.
Also the ceiling light rattles at times. Both are annoying.

Check the black wire bundle under the glovebox, toward the right side. It's very common for it to buzz (it did in mine) as its right up against the metal bracket thing next to it. Some folks tie it up in some way to keep it separate, and I just wedged a bit of hockey tape in there.

i had a rattle on my passenger side from the box moving up and down alittle when hitting bumps, there are metal sleaves that the bed bolts go thru, have to take bolt or bolts out and grind down the sleave alittle so the bolt will tighten up more, fixed my rattle, i only had one bolt i had to fix, i could lift box up and down by lifting under fender well and make it rattle, thunking sound
