Gave it a bath, and finally got the rest of the adhesive off from that black stripe. I think it looks alot cleaner without it.

DO IT!! You definitely wont regret it. It changed the whole look of my truck and they are great off-road. I only lost about 2 mpgs when stepping up from 31s which i really don't think is that bad. It is a truck after all :p

Axle relocation plates seem to be the latest rage. I'm wondering why I don't have a rubbing problem in the rear when stuffed.

Nice truck too, love the early 1st gens.

Wow, truck is looking great, man!
I've got a 95.5 that was factory white; the previous owner had this black-with disgusting glittery blue flakes everywhere paintjob done on it - oh, it's also got ghost flames on the hood/front fenders. haha
I've always wished it was still the factory white

Awesome truck! Id love to upgrade to 33's. Got a few questions. About how much lift are you running up front? How do the tires fit? Any trimming? Do you feel a loss in power? Do you think a regear would be necessary? Thanks!

Thanks man! I think I'm at about 3 inches up front with the bumper and winch and all. My wheels have 3.59" backspacing and I think they fit perfect. I don't have any frame rubbing and I just beat my pinch weld back to stop the rest of the rubbing. I still need to flex it out a little more to make sure im not rubbing more. If you've already trimmed for 32's then you shouldn't have to worry about too much more cutting.
As for the power loss I've found it to be negligible. It doesn't feel much different then 31s at all and I've only lost about 1.5-2 MPG. With weight in the bed it is a little more noticeable but not bad at all. I think a re-gear for 33's is a waste of money. When I step up to 35's then I think a re-gear will definitely be necessary.

Yea I might be willing to fab another one up. Right now I'm busy with work and right in the middle of building a bed rack and a rear bumper so it would probably be after I finished up those projects.

So i bought a 10# CO2 tank at a welding supply shop then bought a 20# on craigslist the next day for 20 bucks. I'm going to keep both but use the bigger one in the garage and mount the smaller one in the truck. I got some quickfists for mounting. Ordered a regulator that goes up to 150psi so i can run air-tools or an ARB. Can't wait to get it all set up!

Thanks man I appreciate it, I hope to get it all mounted up soon since my regulator should be here by next week. And I would definitely go with a plate bumper. If you have the skills I would try and build it yourself. It was a fun trial and error for me trying to get everything just the way I wanted lol but I'm happy with it now. I hope to get the rear done soon
