You have already passed the point of no return. Once they fill you will need to keep draining or wear headgear ( it sucks... a lot) or take a break from training. It is extremely painful once it fills. They will never be the same even with draining, it’s more for pain management and because basically you have a sack full of puss sitting between your skin and cartilage, but do what you want.

Learn to use your forehead to keep pressure, and stop trying to rip out of triangles. I had cauliflower ears develop for the first 2-3 years then made these tweaks...you can barely tell I train based off my ears after 13 years.

I remember I would have to sleep flat, otherwise my ear would catch my pillow and I'd wake in pain.

Decided to drain it. Put in a Calibud so it doesn’t refill. So far so good.

Hahaha… you finally saw the light.
It’s really easy to do yourself, then you don’t need to stop training.

Yeah I train Thursday to Sunday, but had to leave open mat a little early on Sunday because my ears were getting jacked. The caulibuds work great but the magnet seems a little too strong and they squeeze a little too hard, hurts like a bitch after an hour. I softened it with a cotton ball and it’s feeling better.

    What choke & armbar flow?

When my coach lets me play on top I've been working a knee on belly -> knee on ribs -> baseball bat choke -> armbar. 75% of the time I'm supposed to be working from bottom on open guard.

I’ve started keeping a log of my submissions: what they were (armbar, triangle, etc.) and from what position and what belt level the opponent was. I want to see what my high percentage moves are. I’ve only logged 4 subs so far but 2 are triangles from guard.

from side control, work the GI tail up under the shoulder, transfer behind the neck to the opposite shoulder, use knee on belly/ribs, transfer grip on GI to opposite hand, now yer setup for cross collar choke from knee on belly or full mount, partner tries to post up with free hand and sets up to hip out, tuck the head in tight, grab wrist armbar with their elbow in your sternum or arm triangle, if they post up on hands headin to turtle grab the GI with a baseballish type grip n twist into a nasty hatchet choke, ifen they try to front roll out twist it tighter by goin with em
