Break-In Oil Change

    Well of course there’s gear whine…it’s everywhere…it’s just not coming from my differential or my truck…lol.

    I did a 15 minute test drive at 4 miles on the odometer. Let the truck cool 2 hours while I signed the papers.
    Did another 20 minute heat cycle and had lunch while it cooled down for two hours before my trip home. I did 30 minute stints then checked the diff with a pyrometer each time. I made sure never to hit 56mph.

    So if I ever get a whine…it’ll just be my imagination. ;)
