    I will agree with part of this; however, you have to remember that everything on the truck is brand new. This includes the trans, diffs, etc... I personally don’t think engines need breaking in because of the precise tolerances and maching have come a long way. Ask ECGS about break in when you order a diff from them, they have. A specific way to do it by varying rpms and speed.

    Look up GM or Ford crate engine break-in proceedures.

    Heat cycling of all of the different components is a necessary step. Step RPM loading. Positive and negative loading of the engine.

    yea that 1,000 mile no-towing part on the break-in was tough. Took me all night that 1st night to get that 1,000 miles out of the way
