    Pedal commander
2016 Toyota Tacoma trd/Recently had brake override malfunction come up on my dash with a check engine light and also yellow triangle. Also the traction control blink s on and off,the truck runs but gas pedal doesnt work. After turning the truck off and restarting two or three times, the gas pedal works again but check engine light stays on for about 10miles of driving or four to five engine starts.I have a pedal commander that I've had on my truck for almost three year and Toyota says that is the problem.Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem without pedal commander installed.

Everytime I read about this problem I see some type of throttle mod.

Thank fuck i didnt get PC. I read about this happening few times now. I was really tempted at the beginning tho. My previous truck had throttle cable, instant response.

I actually learned to drive it and its totally fine now. My truck rips!

Same here. Instead of slowly pushing the accelerator to get to my desired speed down I just mash it to the spot i know will keep the spot at 40//60/85. Feels much better

I read about these go screwy. Reason I don’t have one and agree, the truck learns your driving habits and improves. I know mine did.
