I bet you could find a piece of weatherstripping they could clean up that gap. But I could help but laugh at “ up close it looks shitty, but the quality is ok”

What I meant to say was, the quality of the window itself is good. But the gap between the window and the truck looks shitty. I called breezer and asked for a solution, so we will see ‍♂️

I imagine you could use permatex form-a-gasket, or something similar. I'm more concerned about the seal between the glass and the frame it sits in.

I honestly don't like the look and the smallness of the glass. If it rolled down electrically, I could maybe see a case for it. But not as a pop out. But, as usual, YMMV.

Yea, at first I was pretty disappointed but it's growing on me . I've got a dog and she loves sticking her head through the opening when driving. And if I get a camper top, the opening will be nice to access. I wouldn't buy one if I had a double cab but with the single cab the opening makes the interior feel larger and less closed in

Seems like a normal sliding rear window would do the trick :notsure:

I can see the attraction of the opening, especially in a single-cab, but like some others have mentioned, not really a fan of that big frame. What sort of dent does that put in one's wallet?

Going by the link posted, at least $500. And there's a clear frame option

I had no idea this was available for Tacomas! So after owning it for a few days, what are the pros and cons that you see?
I can understand that this isn't everyone's thing, but cool to see a new-to-me product.

Kudos to posting a Taco mod not rarely seen, if ever. Kind of cool, might be neat to see color matched.

So I was going to get one of these for crawl-through access to my truck cap camper. But that opening looks really small! Do you know what the height of the opening is?

It does look tight. Thankfully I'm skinny enough to fit through the stock window if I really really want to.

Thanks for posting this! I had ordered one to have installed in MN, but had to cancel after since it wouldn’t arrive before I traveled back home. I found another auto glass place to put the Breezer in my 2009 Tacoma with access cab so was just ready to order again. I want to be able to move from my canopy to the cab and this would do it. Just couldn’t find any other solution. The sliders for my Leer canopy and truck don’t line up. I can get up there in an emergency but it’s not pleasant. My question is if there is any trouble removing the glass with the headrests in place? Also roughly, how long did this take you? Thanks again!

Just wanted to give a 1 year update. Breezer has reached out to me about the gap issue. They have made an updated window that will close the gap. They are sending me the new window. Ill post pictures once installed.

After 1 year, I have really enjoyed the breezer window! If anyone has any questions just reach out

How big is the gap with the window removed?

What do you do with the window when it's out?
