    Good question. I scraped the hitch a bunch of times. I broke an insert on the hitch and the electrical for a trailer. Got a couple of scuff marks on the underside of the front bumper on the drivers side. Also, I bottomed out a few times, but then again I was following a taco that was lifted. I chose some bad lines a couple of times.

    If you pick the right lines, scraping will be kept to a minimum. Go slow, especially down Devils Staircase and you should be dine. Definitely worth the trip with the stellar views.

    Yeah, wait until you get better tires and a lift if you are afraid of damaging your truck. I wouldn't mind going again though on stock. I have my lift, just need it installed.

    yeah, broken arrow with watching your line, you could probably get away with just dragging your hitch/ receiver a few times if you're careful and go slow. if you follow me, and i don't warn you to not always follow my line(sorry i didn't mention that sometimes/ always, i go for a more difficult line), you'll drag a little more. but like brian said, no more than the underside of fenders.

    Yes you should be fine. Just take it easy and choose your line properly. I'd love to come show ya around, but gonna be down in phx this weekend. Multi vehicle mod day the following weekend. And then some needed scouting/pre running for a bachelor party the following. I'd advise getting a second vehicle to go with you if you haven't done any slower, crawling wheeling. Not that this is that difficult, but limited experience with this style of wheeling, I'd not go alone. Plus you won't be alone on the trail. It is a highly traveled/ tourist trail. So be careful for oncoming traffic and follow the one way signs when posted

    Thanks for your quick response. I'll see if I can get my brother or cousin(both have Jk's) to tag along and one more question how often is there meet ups here in phx? I want to get more into trailing but have literally no one to go with. I love to meet up with some people on here and hit some trails, I've gone to sycamore creek and that's about it

    That's a question for the as bs or az meet ups threads. I'm up in flagstaff but there is a good group of people throughout the state. I do believe Brian, whose thread we are jacking, and a few other phx area members are heading to the 4peaks area this weekend as well.

    @snowsk8air2, Thanks for jacking my thread. Jk! Glad you were able to answer the question for me.

    @freddy2923,
    We have a pretty good sized group here in Phx spread across the valley. I'm always up for going to do trails. This weekend a couple of us are going camping around the 4 Peaks area. Other than that, I am open pretty much any weekend.
    As far as Sedona, Broken Arrow is a must. The scenery is spectacular. Be prepared to get the underside of the truck touched and the hitch being dragged a bit for being stock. Pick good lines and you should be fine.

    Camping stuff is packed for this weekends tw mini meet with @Techoma and @outdoorAZ. Should note that this is the first camping trip since the Prerunner was crushed. Man, a 5ft versus 6ft bed space makes is a big difference. Somewhat miss having a 6ft bed, but wouldn't give up the dcsb for the access cab.

    New truck looks good, like the wheel combo! Thought of plasti dipping/ painting the Crome black? Would take it to the next level.

    I have never gotten into the plastidip fad. Might take the plunge and do it.
