That's just crazy. I don't put any extra weight on my truck unless I have to.

Yes sir I know the feeling! That’s why I’m going aluminum so I can free up some weight for the 4x4 parts

after I get done with that I’m 100% done lol. I’ve pumped so much money into the truck hahahahah

how do you like the xbull? I have watched some reviews on it and they don't seem bad. How did you mount it on the roof?

I’m getting those obviously lol. Only things left on my list are f5’s, rear bumper 4x4 and change out the front for aluminum. Probably snorkel lol

Used some really small bolts from Lowe’s that fit in the channel with washers and wing nuts. It worked ok but I have them on the side of my bed rack now and it’s so much easier lol. They are ok. Plastic is soft and tires melted the edges of the board. They are good for mud on a flat source but inclines they suck lol. I’ve gotten unstuck like once with them. Usually just get a tug haha.

I'd normally get towed as well which is why im hesitant to spend $300 on maxtrax and figured for $50 these would be worth to carry in the truck.

I’d say they are worth $50! I’ll never pay $300 for some plastic

Dude it was a steal honestly. The guy said he could not believe they were selling so cheap. Came with everything in basically the best used condition out the door for $180 bucks. Everything on eBay was atleast double that and didn’t have all the parts. Like was missing either sensors or the shifter.

Those FJ’s looked like they could’ve been brought back and made sick trail rigs, I’m along way from ever doing an fj swap or double cases but for that price it crossed my mind :anonymous:
