Awesome!! I had a snorkel once dang ol jumping tree snagged it. I did notice some better throttle response above 40mph and a slight mpg increase after initial install.

    Thanks man!

Hey have you ever had an issue with low idle after disconnecting the negative side of your battery? Whole truck now idles around 600rpm and shakes when starting up. Its fine on cold start. It even died on start up a couple of times. I was getting codes to began with now nothing. I not sure what s going on. Has this ever happend to you after installing an intake? Sounded like the MAF sensor but i cleaned it and checked it and everything seems fine.

I cant say ive had that happen unfortunately. You may try cleaning the throttle body, that can affect the idle. Also if it started idling weird after resetting the battery, you might also try disconnecting it again and seeing if it gets any better. Next time it throws those codes, definitely try and get a code reader and check them out, they really help with troubleshooting. Any other drivability issues? When disconnecting the battery make sure to keep the neg terminal off for 3 mins so it can do a hard reset. Do you know which codes it threw previously by chance?

Its been a mixture of codes on and off everytime ive scanned it c1420, p1605, p0113, p010. althought he p0 ones i cleaned the MAF sensor and they went away. I can try to clean the throttle body tonight. Its just weird because i drove around all that day and disconnected it that night and connected it back up and it was throwing codes left and right. Snorkel had already been installed for a whole 24 hours with 0 issues.

right now the only code is p1605

I havent driven the truck yet because i dont want to mess it up but i might have to, to see if it will fix itself after driving for a little bit. I heard sometimes it just needs to relearn but i dont know.

Looks good i wanna see the plumbing side when you get there, Id clean your throttle body and leave that ground off a bit and I bet the computers just gotta relearn the idle mine runs like krap for a bit after.

Heres a good resource for most codes for our trucks.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/obdii-error-codes.68667/

thats definitely a strange assortment.. i have no idea what the other c1420 is relating to. The others seem kinda random as well though. You might go through your engine bay and check the main wire harness and make sure nothing looks damaged or out of the ordinary. Also would be a good idea to check all the connections for the harness in the engine bay and make sure nothing is loose.
    - P0010 "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit - check out pic below i think its the camshaft timing actuator. id clean the connections with some contact cleaner on that one and the intake camshaft position sensor.
    upload_2020-1-13_18-49-8.jpg
    - P0113 Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input -
    - P1605 Knock Control CPU- id pull out your glove box for this one and behind it is the ECU. Id make sure that all the connections are tight. Might be a good idea to unplug and clean the connectors on the truck harness as well. They are all plug specific, so you cant hook them up incorrectly, makes it super easy. Electrical contact cleaner works good for this too, ive done this a few times without issues on my truck.

Heres a pretty cool thread with an engine bay guide for our 2TR
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/engine-bay-guide-for-the-2tre-fe-2-7l.534478/

Are you running the stock intake box sealed off for the snorkel? And are there any other drivability issues besides the rough idle/stall? Make sure the ground cable near the battery is also clean and tight.. hope you get this sorted out man
