    So you can long term store shocks just no nitrogen but oil until your others need rebuilt??? Hmmmmm I may order a spare set of COs and keep the rears when I get new ones then.

    Just ordered those 4x4 hubs from 05taco4x4, didn’t realize he’s also the one with this detailed conversion thread I’ve read and reread literally 100 times lol https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/prerunner-to-4x4-conversion-guide.534480/

    Been wondering, what happens when you leave ADD off and shift into 4lo? At first I thought it would give you 2lo but obviously then the twin stick mod would be pointless lol

    So if i put in 4lo and dont engage ADD itll be in 2lo and either front wheels will spin? I could have sworn ive done this before and driver side spun but i could be wrong lol.

    Correct. You will be in 2LO.

    When you are in 4WD with the ADD engaged, only one front wheel spins unless you have a front locker.

    With open diffs:
    2WD -> 1 Rear wheel drive
    4WD -> 1 Rear and 1 Front
