What do you think? Inner tie rod or bushing?

There's def movement in bushing but i don't know if that's normal or not.

True it didn’t take much turning at all from the steering wheel to be able to feel and hear that noise.

Im pretty sure its the bushing but could be the inner joint. But from what i can tell my boot has not been ripped.

Just because the boot isn't torn doesn't mean you can't have a noisy or bad joint.

i know, just don't think anything got in to contaminate it that's all. Could be the joint,

that would be alot better actually cause i wouldn't have to take rack off.

It's a ball and socket joint with a grease to lubricate the grease eventually breaks down and the joint slowly wears on itself by design. If the grease has hardened or migrated away from the joint it is no longer lubricating and can cause premature wear and noise. Eventually all ball and socket joints go bad and have play and/or make noise.

A prime example of this mid 90s to ~2008ish ford F150, Expedition, Explorers you ever hear one squeaking and making all kinds of racket turning or going over bumps. Their ball joints are the cause. Boots are usually intact.
