nstalled an HPS intake tube. Def notice a difference in acceleration. Old restrictive box versus free flow silicone tube lol. It’s a lot louder lol.

So you bought a tow rig and then a camper to live on your tacoma... so you will camp in your tacoma while towing with your tundra???

I'm confused, but maybe I just don't know how to overland.

I bought the Tundra as a DD for bed space with the ability to tow.I also have a boat i tow. Its also nice to have to be able to load the truck up to drive long distances. Say KY or Moab and not be worried that if i breakdown out there i want not have a way to get home. I still plan to do all my off road stuff in the truck. Basically anywhere withing a 3 hour radius ill probably drive the Taco too.

O, I could have sworn when you and I talked about you getting the Tundra you were going to convert the tacoma to a trailer queen. Must have misheard or gotten confused. I do that a lot in my old age...

No it never was going to be just a trailer queen. considering the tundra will only ever see a forest service road. I cant take it on real offroad trails to camp so i like the idea of hauling Taco to area and if i bust truck wheeling then i can just go back to my truck and haul her home.

What if we go to Windrock and I bust my truck? Do I get to drive the Tundra home while towing my truck?

Is that how this works???? I think that is how it should work....

@BassAckwards finally installing the LCE header. Got everything in now can’t get the air injection system back on studs. Like heart is in way. Any ideas?

It looks almost like the studs aren’t long enough. I never ran into that issue.. Would it be possible to remove the studs and find some longer bolts to secure it in place?

Isn’t it suppose to be flush with motor body? It won’t slide up against the body. Like the header is in the way or something

Yes it’s supposed to sit up against the head. Maybe put some grease on it, slide it back on and try to determine where on the SAI pump it’s hitting. Might just need a little grinder action to get the clearance needed

It might also be worth calling LCE to see if anyone else has had fitment issues. I’ve heard of folks with 3rd gen’s having issues, this is the first I’ve heard of issues on 2nd gens
