Yup. Drove about 100 miles already. Everything seems pretty good. Still need to mod the FJ shift so it doesn’t hit everything. Small detail though.

Like I put smaller tires on and dropped 800lbs. It’s just so much more drivable. I wouldn’t says it’s a massive difference, but it’s very noticeable.

I would say it sounds like a massive difference, from that description lol. I just dont know how i would feel about a manual out on the trail.

I will never swap back to manual, my Samurai has so much more control with the automatic.

Awesome build but if you don’t mind me asking, what exhaust do you have? Truck sounds awesome in the last video.

Starter was acting up on me so I pulled it and cleaned it up. Works good as new now.

Walk us through what you did here. Did you replace the brushes? I’m not sure what we are looking at in the photos.

Opened the housing. Cleaned the copper contacts inside the main hosing. Cleaned the plunger copper ring as well. I used madd air flow sensor cleaner on the whole thing. Greased the gears as well.

    nothing was replaced, just cleaned.

Thanks, after my last trip my starter started acting up. Reallly slow cranks with clicking. We went through a lot of water so I think it corroded the contacts pretty bad. Now it’s all good again.

Did a good bit of work on the truck this weekend. Fixed my starter, changed diff fluid and glad I did cause water had leaked Through breather hose. Relocated breather line. Switched out my LED high beams. Also wired my top light at back up.

Did you just do the rear diff? What made you want to change it out? It’s almost time for me to do my front/rear/transfer case fluids again too.

I just ordered 6 quarts of Mobil 1 75w-90 for $61 and change from Advanced Auto, with their 25% off coupon code. Also just ordered some OEM transfer case oil from OEM Parts Source for $57. I'll probably do all my diffs and TC this weekend, along with an oil change.
