Do it. Actually I think you'd hit a handful of emissions hiccups being in CA.

At one point I fitted a compressor into the s/c inlet and pumped 15 psi and found a few leaks. How's your actuator?

Didn't make anything special just a few fittings to get the compressor hose quick fitting to a big hose clamp over the TB. Then I just sprayed soapy water and listened for sounds. My actuator did have a leak and I had a few little t fittings leaking I needed to clamp.

Of the actuator? I don't see why not. I sprayed pretty much everything. Yeah that's basically what I made.

Do you remember what size rubber you used to clamp over the throttle body? 3"?

It would have to be 2.75" ID tubing.

You think 3" pic cap and rubber connector would work clamped down?

Im betting solidly on no since you'd have to clamp about a 1/4 inch of material.

Off the top of my head it was a 3" just clamped the shit out of it. I was having issues at like 30 psi with it blowing off but at 15-20 it was fine.

So just got back from a drive...Of course I couldn't help it and decided to do a burnout :D Started in 1st...2nd....3rd it attempted 4th but bogged so it shifted back to third (auto) Needless to say the stock motor definitely couldn't pull off 3rd gear burnouts:burnrubber:

Oh and a cop rolled past me literally seconds after finishing my sick one wheel peel (two if you count them alternating ;))

In other news...In case you guys didn't know I only had my job for the summer which means...no moniez...:( soooo along with having to get a job now I also have some things I would like to accomplish with said job before the end of the school year. Obviously I wont get this all done but Its a start

    • Upgrade/Lift suspension (2.5-3")
    • Satoshi the grille
    • Bigger IC
    • Methanol injection
    • SCS F5 matte jet black wheels http://www.stealthcustomseries.com/products/wheels/f5/ (@gray223 if it aint broke dont fix it)
    • 255/85r16 Cooper discoverer st maxx tires (@gray223 ;))
    • Put a resonator on the exhaust (super drone-y on the freeway)
    • AEM fic6 and Boomslang harness
    • 01-04 center console
    • 01-04 front bumper
    • 01-04 split seats
    • sound deadener (getting old now lol)
    • And an electronic boost controller
    • Convert to 4x4
If you have any suggestions for suspension upgrades from stock I'm all ears, since I have no clue where to start. I'd also like to know what you think I should do first. :D Thanks

Sorry if it's already come up before but what was [roughly] the total cost for the turbo setup?

Good question. Around $2600 or since I bought a bunch of parts and fittings I ultimately didn't need.

You will love the coopers:thumbsup:. For sound deadener I got in on a group buy for Shok sound deadener. It's good stuff and not too expensive. Look on the group buys for it.

For suspension, it's all what your goal is and what your using the truck for. Coilovers are going to be the best, King, Icon, ADS, fox. They are rebuildable so you can run that shock for probably as long as you ever will keep it and get then rebuilt when needed.

You can also go the Bilstein 5100 route and use ome springs for lift. But remember it's not adjustable, whatever lift you get is what you get, and over time will sag. OME also has its own shocks to pair with there coils.

If your willing to spend the cash...I would go with ADS coilovers. You really need to just do a lot of research on here.
