Alright so I went and tried to start this thing with the bypass harness plugged in with no luck. It turned over but wouldnt start...I'm guessing that I have no fuel since it was running so lean with the AEM plugged in. Im also pulling a MAF code P0100 (which points to bad wiring from what I've read...) so I probably need to rewire that... welp to work I go

Oh and problem solved found the base map lol

    Quote from D-series.org

"Start with just the tapping wires. Then move on to the Injectors wires, then cam, crank.
Work with 1 wire at a time and be sure to look at the IN/OUT of the wires on the FIC.
Remember the injectors wires are IN from ECU and OUT to INJ.
While the Cam and Crank wires are IN from SENSOR and OUT to ECU.
    "
    (bold added)

Managed to get all of my cam and crank sensors laid out as above, however, as I suspected, all of my injectors and MAF are wired backwards, which would explain the lean issues and code from the SC2, however it ran because the cam and crank sensors were AT LEAST correct..to some degree :bananadead: :D

Lmao that'd be great. Although a cylinder deactivation mod doesn't seem to hard... If you could wire ignition and the injector to a switch then you could probably get away with a 4 cyl V6...

Truck runs fine without the AEM harness installed...So my wiring is still broken somewhere... Im gonna try bridging CAM1 MAG O and CAM 1 MAG I with a resistor and see what that returns

I read a forum post by @StAndrew, and if i read it right the ultragauge made it throw codes? If that's the case I'll go pull my SC2 and see what happens

My truck wont even start right now, it has fuel but no spark...Im assuming thats what the P1300 code is...

Does it run using the bypass harness?

No, but i've double checked my wiring and everything is in the right spot... With the AEM plugged in it tries to start, but wont. I also just tried starting it without the SC2 plugged in but no difference

I've read some people have issues where the pins/wires will pop out of the plastic harness piece that holds them. Make sure they're all pushed in all the way.

Try starting with your PC hooked up to it.

Will do and will do. Out of the shop for the night but I hope the above works. Its definitely the wiring or AEM or URD harness. since it still runs stock just fine (well if pig rich is just fine)

If it will run stock but not with the bypass harness that makes me think one of the pins might have worked it's way out of the harness. Even if it wasn't wired correctly as long as all the connections are solid it will run exactly as stock with the bypass.

Yeah the bypass just ties all the intercepted wires back together.

Then you're probably right on the pins being worked outta the harness(es) somewhere. Ill check that tomorrow :D

EDIT: just found a 1.8k ohm 1/4 watt resistor Ill try and use to bridge.
