    2009 has updated leaf springs, updated head gasket, and no air injection. Good to go.

    Ended up buying a 2005 Access cab Prerunner V6 with 150k- or basically the truck I have now with a new body style :D Pics to come after I clean it and buff out some scratches.

    ok, brice you order some stuff (there is a lot of discussed products In my build thread for a good starting point just double check with me and ill tell you what I wound up not using/replacing) holler when it starts coming in, ill head that way, tor bring a couple of those 32" pizzas and we will knock this thing out in a long weekend 1...2...3... break!

    I really can't turbo this one lol, but I appreciate the enthusiasm. I think I'm gonna swap the front end to a 2014 and I'll do little stuff here and there, maybe a cat back and intake. :D

    wait what? I thought the BBK was what the xrunner guys did because for whatever reason they came without the 4 piston calipers, is this a thing for other tacomas?

    you mean 5 luggers have single pistons and anyone with a 5 lugger should do the bbk? because yourself, brice and I essentially have the bbk from the factory right? (as 6 luggers) or is there some kit for the rear that really makes that big of a difference that we are unaware of? (sorry I ended that sentence in a preposition)

    The rear disk upgrade is an astonishing improvement over the drums.

    There is an upgrade for 6 lugs, in the link that I posted in my build thread. Which is OEM.

    5 luggers can do an OEM upgrade for much cheaper than an aftermarket bbk. While still getting up to 4 piston fronts.
