Yeah, the experience was pretty fun the first time, now it's just work lol. I did mine out side on my tailgate under a carport the first time. Not a good place to do it lol. Thankfully I have a shop to work in now :D

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Man I hated doing my valve body. I cant tell you how much trans fluid I drank. It makes for a decent eye lubricant though.

Lol I thought it was cool to see the inside of a valve body. I just let mine drain for hours then I took my time with a catch bucket and eventually I got it. I got way less fluid on me the second time around :D

Welp, got it back together today. I had an issue where all gears were foward lol. Turns out I didn't hook the internal linkage together, and I also forgot the drain back valve. pulled the pan, drained the fluid (for the 3rd time) and reinstalled everything. Good as new! :D and no more hyper-aggressive reverse. Now onto Injectors, suspension and tires lol.

    I think injectors are next.

    I was thinking a S/C :D
But nah this is a flip.

A LT/MT build on this would be cool though.

I've done a mod or two
Haha, I've repaired lots of these. Good for taking up that pesky free time, not so great as a reliable form of transportation. $1000 is still good though if the head gasket is all that's wrong right now

What you see above is my current misery, I mean an AEM log file.

So I'm having a little trouble with the new 550cc injectors I just installed (and will post more on later). Well not the injectors, but open loop is the trouble. So I got closed loop fueling down pretty good at 11.5-11afr in boost and like 12.5 at atmosphere, all the way till open loop where it decides 8:1 is a good ratio to have. This occurs at about 3400 rpm at WOT and I haven't found a way to get it up from 8:1, and whatever MAF clamp I set seems to not work. my current clamp is at 4.5v and I tooled around with voltages below that but they seemed to have no effect...

Also sorry for the lack of updates for anyone who enjoys my build, I've just started college and I'm just now getting organized.

If they can't help, try a call with AEM. It is quite stumbling. ;)

Based on that log it looks like you're achieving those afrs in CL because your fuel trims are maxed out negative and the ecu can't cut any more. Set your OL desired afr using the fuel map of the fic and use the o2 map for CL.

I am using the o2 map for closed loop, those trims on there represent the AEM's fuel map, for instance I'm subtracting -48% at idle and and at that particular spot it's minus -26~% for boost. I guess -26% fuel in open loop is different than -26% fuel in closed loop...
