PS: When I was there on Sunday doing a steep hill climb (the one Adam was trying to get up in the video) I had a friend's watching from the ground. He asked me if I had LSD on all 4 wheels. I said no, open diffs at the front and back. So I asked him why he asked. He said it looked like the truck was transferring power as they started to slip. Then I remembered I'd done the yellow wire mod.....count it :D

    Shit works yo ;)

I must get up that hill. After getting some new tread on the tires it should be easier.

Any of y'all down to go in another couple of weeks? (After jambo repairs:rolleyes::D)

Ground clearance at the top of the hill is at a premium. Since you're a long bed it might be tougher for you. (Wheelbase is longer right?). But then again you do have a lift so you have that going for you. I walked right up it this last time. In fact, I took it about 1mph and just crawled up. Didn't have a problem with traction either. This is where I was really impressed with the yellow wire mod. Doesn't mean I don't want that locker though! :D

Most of the problem I had with that hill was the sifference of driving a standard vs automatic.

I don't know how the left one compared but the middle one was way steeper than the one on the right. I did the one on the middle. I think the one on the left had more exposed rocks though.

I'll give it a go next time. I think that area is my favorite spot in the whole place. It's just hard to turn around up there once you get to the top. There's not a lot of space up there.

Have you tried the trail around the north side of that hill? :D

Next time I'm up there I'm going to go out the backside of the hill over the washboard area instead of down a trail.
