One of those would be pretty cool.

Funny you mention that though. My friend just informed me he'd let me borrow his waterproof hd video camera next time if I need. It's not a go pro or anything special, but I could still get more of the good stuff if it's raining again.

Because we still need a ground man to document in case you're truck is nose first in the sky getting high centered right? :p

^^This...but hey, the truck does a pretty good seesaw impression right? Still never got stuck though lol

I checked the bottom after Brian's comment a few posts ago. Nothing is damaged at all. Really not any scrapes either. The skid plate has some scratches but that's it.

I'd recommend all the second gens check the grommet under the driver's side door. It's the one with a fairly large factory harness going through, not the empty one. It will just pop back in after you break all the mud off lol

The harness hangs down a bit and could easily be snagged on rocks, branches, roadkill, etc. I will look into fixing that before I go out again, as water damage and ripped up wiring harnesses are not mods I want on my truck....bumper damage ok though lol

Mine looks like it's still where it's supposed to be. Maybe yours got caught on something? The good news is that my entire floor metal is covered by closed cell foam and mass loaded vinyl so that area is probably sealed anyways lol

I tried washing the mud off last night. That stuff is caked on the bottom of the truck. Gonna have to head under there and just start chiseling it off. Not having those skids really suck. That is next on the mod list before I go out again.

$5 and 20 minutes at the busy bee with the pressure washer will do wonders. Wear some board shorts and get up under there!

(I did this before I even got home, in the middle of an electrical storm)

Thats where I messed up. I waited 2 days to try and wash anything off. I had so many things going on Saturday after I left, I didn't have a chance to get it while it was still fresh.

The only thing on my whole truck that's dirty is the engine bay...and it's awful

actually that was why i went to the car wash before I went home. I only had a 5 on me so I just used all the quarters in the bay. It did take full power on the washer to get the mud off my sandals, and I was picking mud out of my leg hairs for the next three days. Not that you wanted to know lol

Mine was too....I just took a garden hose to it, hit as much of the mud with a soapy sponge as I could and leaf blowered it dry. Came out lookin pretty damn good!

What are everyone's thoughts on camping next month? I'm not sure now, but I'd like to go back for the day again!

Next time I go muddy g I'm gonna have to try this...but some one suggested putting on of those sprinklers that go back and forth that attach to your hose under there for about 30 min then hit it with a high pressure nozzle

I have (half of) the same problem. I want to get out there and go offroading, but I already paid for my deer lease, and Bridgeport is 1/3 of the way there, I'm better off putting meat in the freezer. Plus, there's mud @ the lease. :)

I'll make it out eventually though.
